Guernsey 20XX
Guernsey is one of the Channel Islands in the English Channel near the French coast, and is a self-governing British Crown dependency. It's known for beach resorts like Cobo Bay and the scenery of its coastal cliffs. Castle Cornet, a 13th-century harbor fortification in the capital of St. Peter Port, now contains history and military museums.
An International experience for Scouts and Explorers to Guernsey in 2026, that any member from those sections in Warwickshire can attend.
For this trip we will be based at Les Maingys Activity Centre in Guernsey, taking over their fully furnished farmhouse.
You will be able to choose activities such a Sea kayaking, Climbing, Paddle boards, High Ropes, Coastering, Archery and more with trips to Castle Cornet, the RAF Museum and Fort Grey to name but a few of the interesting places in the area.
The aim is to make these trips educational as well as fun, with (of course) opportunities for a little bit of shopping and exploration thrown in.
More details will be released as they become available.
The cost is still to be confirmed but will cover all travel, accommodation, meals and excusions.
